BOOKS AND MANUSCRIPTS

Most of our books and manuscripts also fall under the category of religious and spiritual artifacts. They include accordion-folded books from Siam and Burma that were used by masters of yantra, mystical inscriptions and drawings to invoke blessings from the cosmic universe; Chinese medical books; Taoist texts where the writing often looks like a drawing and may refer to the Chinese art of placement, feng shui; and books from various tribal 'priests' that frequently have religious writing interspersed with small or large drawings.
