JEWELRY

Silver hill tribe jewelry from the Golden Triangle - the area where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar (formerly Burma) and Laos meet - was the original inspiration for our business. We started buying when we lived in Thailand in the 1970s and fell into the compelling spiral of focus and expansion. Much of our jewelry is still from the hill tribes of mainland Southeast Asia (Hmong, Mien, Akha, Lahu, Lisu and Wa/Lawa), but we have also meandered northward into the regions of China that are home to their original counterparts (Miao, Yao, Hani, ...) and beyond; and have jewelry from India, Nepal and Tibet as well.
